Auditions for the 2nd semester of the Durham Children's Choir will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 4-4:30 PM and 6-6:30 PM in the IBM Rehearsal Room at the Durham Arts Council. Auditionees and parents are also welcome to visit the regular rehearsal that day from 4:30-6 PM.

2005-06 Rehearsals
Rehearsals for the Durham Children's Choir 2005-06 season will be held on Tuesdays from 4:30-6 PM at the Durham Arts Council. The first rehearsal will be held on August 23, and the first performance will be Sunday, Oct. 2 at 3 PM at Duke Chapel's Annual Blessing of the Animals.
All members, returning and new, will receive a complete schedule for the season in a few days.
We are looking forward to seeing you again and hope you have had a wonderful summer vacation!

Auditions for 2005-06 season
Auditions for the 2005-06 Durham Children's Choir
will be held May 23, 24 and 25 from 4-5:30 pm in the Chorus Room at Durham School of the Arts. Children ages 8-13, in grades 3-8 are eligible for the choir. We will accept treble voices only (no changed boys voices). You may attend on any of the 3 days, or contact Mrs. Hill for another date.
Children will be asked to match pitches and rhythms and sing a simple melody. It is not necessary to bring a prepared piece, although we will hear it if you choose to do so.

Pick-Up
Parents will escort the group to the FRONT covered walkway. Please continue to be careful as you pull out to leave the area.

Snacks
Children should pack an extra snack for Tuesdays if they are unable to go home before the rehearsal. Water bottles are encouraged, but no snacks will be provided.

Study Hall
Please alert Mrs. Hill if you are dropping off kids earlier than 4:30 PM. Students should remain quiet in the Chorus Room until that time, as others are trying to catch up on homework; students should NOT wander around the DSA campus.
