Onllwyn Welsh Choir
Onllwyn Welsh Men's Choir Visit
The Durham Children's Choir will work with the Duke Performances Series to host members of a choir from Wales, Onllwyn Male Voice Choir on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23 and 24. We will provide host homes for about 17 of the men for two nights beginning on the afternoon of the 23rd and ending on Monday morning, Sept. 25. Here is a tentative schedule:
Sept. 23 4 PM meet choir members, provide dinner,overnight with host family
Sept. 24 morning free
12:30 PM lunch at Baldwin, Duke East Campus
1:30 PM rehearsal in Baldwin Auditorium
2:50 PM DCC arrives for rehearsal
4:00 PM Joint Concert with Durham Children's Choir
6:00 PM Dinner and overnight with host famiy
Sept. 25 8:30 AM Deliver Welshmen to Homestead Suites for departure to App. State
